Hermann Davids

Hermann Davids (born June 23, 1878 in Emden ; † July 13, 1967 in Münster ) was a German ophthalmologist who also emerged as the author of a guide to nursing in general medicine.

Life

From 1908 Davids worked as an ophthalmologist in Münster. In 1920 he was appointed "Delegate Lecturer" at the Westphalian Wilhelms University . He gave lectures on topics in the field of ophthalmology. From 1923 he was head of the newly founded “Municipal Eye Station” at the Clemenshospital in Münster .

His “Guide to Nursing” appeared in the first edition in 1913, in the second edition in 1918 and in the last, the third edition, in 1930 in the foundation publishing house in Potsdam.

Davids died in 1967, his wife Käthe, b. Hausmann, as early as 1963.
