Hermann Fock
Hermann Fock , also Focke (born September 7, 1634 in Lübeck ; † May 20, 1701 there ) was a merchant and councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
As a businessman, Hermann Fock was a member of the Lübeck Schonenfahrer . In 1680 he is mentioned as a patron of Lübeck church music. In 1692 he was elected to the Lübeck council. He received after his death in 1701 in 1703, a wooden rococo - Epitaph in the Marienkirche in Lübeck by his son, the doctoral lawyers Heinrich Focke set that the air raid on Lübeck burned 1,942th One illustration has survived as a painting by the painter Heinrich Fricke and shows the state around 1915; it was considered lost and has been in a north German private collection since 2010. Hermann Fock was (last?) Married to Dorothea geb. Bulmering, who was first married to Hinrich Eckhoff, who last willingly donated the new pulpit from 1691 to the Marienkirche. The Lübeck canon Heinrich von Focke was his son.
