Hermann Greifeld (born June 27, 1901 in Ilsenburg ; † September 21, 1991 ) was a German poet from the Harz region .

Greifeld had initially trained as a locksmith and then worked for 40 years in the forest areas surrounding Ilsenburg as a timber trucker. He was committed to the use of Low German and also published in this language. In addition, he was active as a conservationist . He was also a member of the local community council and the district council . In 1991 his hometown made him an honorary citizen .
