Hermann Grupe (* 26. June 1956 in Scharfoldendorf ) is a German FDP - politicians . He is a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . Grupe is married and has three children.

education and study

After studying agriculture from 1972 to 1974 and graduating from high school in Hildesheim in 1977, he began studying agricultural sciences in Göttingen . He completed this in 1982 as a graduate engineer .

politics

Grupe has been a member of the FDP since 1983. He is the deputy chairman of the FDP district association of southern Lower Saxony and chairman of the FDP-integrated community association Eschershausen-Stadtoldendorf. Since 2011 he has been a councilor of the joint municipality Eschershausen-Stadtoldendorf, chairman of the FDP joint municipal council group and deputy mayor. He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2013. Grupe is the spokesman for agriculture, forestry and hunting as well as consumer protection for the FDP parliamentary group.

Herman Grupe has been the mayor of the city of Eschershausen since 2016.

Other activities and functions

Grupe is a self-employed farmer , district farmer in the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture , Hanover District Office, chairman of the Weserbergland farmers 'association in the Lower Saxony rural population and member of the shareholders' meeting of Agrardienste Weserbergland (ADW).
