history
The place was in the Wikanafeld . The old chapel made of quarry stone, whose parish St. Nicolai belongs to the Holzminden-Bodenwerder parish , was renovated in 1950 and 2005. Between 1926 and 2000 the village was approached by rail by the Vorwohle-Emmerthaler Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft .
