Hermann Henningsen

Hermann Henningsen (born February 23, 1890 in Hamburg ; † November 25, 1966 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1952 to 1954 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Henningsen studied philosophy and modern languages ​​from 1908 to 1913 and worked as a teacher in Senftenberg from 1919 , and then from 1926 in Berlin-Köpenick and Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg . In 1933 he was dismissed from the public school service in accordance with Section 4 of the law enacted by the National Socialist regime to restore the civil service. Between 1937 and 1947, Henningsen worked as an auditor in an auditing and trust company in Bielefeld. From 1947 he worked again as a teacher at the Helmholtzgymnasium in Bielefeld.

He joined the SPD in 1920. During the Weimar Republic he was a city councilor in Senftenberg from 1924 to 1926 .

Henningsen became a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament on August 31, 1952 when he moved up to the state parliament. He remained a member of the state parliament until the end of the second electoral term on July 4, 1954.
