Hermann Jaeckel

Hermann Jaeckel (born February 28, 1895 in Berlin ; † December 8, 1968 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Hermann Jaeckel attended elementary school and did an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer , in which he also worked. In the Weimar Republic he joined the SPD. From 1934 he worked as a cable fitter at the Gartenfeld cable works .

After the Second World War , Jaeckel worked at the Siemens works in Berlin , where he became chairman of the general works council in 1946 . Elected to the city ​​council of Greater Berlin in the first Berlin election in 1946 , he left parliament at the end of 1948.
