Hermann Kramer

Hermann Albert Traugott Kramer (born August 9, 1808 in Berlin , † after 1866 in Berlin) was a German painter and engraver.

Life

Before 1826 Kramer studied painting at the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts in Berlin and around 1826-1830 under the engraver Ludwig Buchhorn . From 1826 he regularly took part in the exhibitions of the Royal Prussian Academy of the Arts. From 1835 to 1842 he studied with Eugène Lepoittevin in Paris and took part in the Paris Salon in 1836 . Then he returned to Berlin. He last took part in the Academy Exhibition in 1866.
