Hermann Krallmann
Hermann Krallmann (born November 11, 1945 in Papenburg ) is a German university professor. Since 1980 he has been professor of the system analysis and IT department in Faculty IV Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin .
Life
Hermann Krallmann studied until 1971 Engineering with specialization in control engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and received his doctorate four years later at the University of Mannheim to Dr. rer. pole. From 1972 to 1980 he worked as a research assistant at the computer center and at the chair for general business administration and industry at the University of Mannheim.
Since 1980 he has held the chair for systems analysis and IT at the TU Berlin. In 1988 he founded the UBIS management consultancy for integrated systems GmbH (later UBIS AG) in Berlin and was managing director of the Institute for Management and Technology (IMT) Berlin from 1988 to 1991. In November 2006, Krallmann founded KRALLMANN AG, of which he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Krallmann's research and work focus includes business intelligence , CRM , agent-oriented technologies, e-business , enterprise architecture management , application portfolio management (APM), quality and test management, business process management (BPM), process and cost optimization and e- Healthcare as well as knowledge management . He is also active as a consultant to various company boards.
Krallmann is the author and editor of publications, magazines, specialist books and book chapters.
