Hermann Lattermann

Hermann Lattermann (born February 25, 1809 , † July 26, 1867 ) was a German entrepreneur and politician.

The son of the hammer mill owner and member of the state parliament Heinrich Ludwig Lattermann studied metallurgy at the Bergakademie Freiberg . Between 1835 and 1855 he owned the hammer mill in Tannenbergsthal in Vogtland and then took over the Morgenröthe hammer mill from his brother Robert, who founded the cast steel factory in Döhlen near Dresden. From 1851 to 1855 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament as a representative of the 17th rural electoral district .

His son-in-law Guido Breitfeld was also a member of the Saxon state parliament from 1877 to 1894.
