Hermann Müller-Hollenhorst

Hermann Ferdinand Müller-Hollenhorst (born January 7, 1841 in Apolda ; † July 24, 1910 on a steamer between Port Said and Alexandria ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Müller inherited the materials and grocery store JE Burkhardt & Sohn in Apolda. He was also director of the gas lighting company in Apolda, entrepreneur for the project planning and execution of water pipes, chairman of the building committee of the municipal council, Grand Ducal Saxon district fire chief, member of the Weimar Parliament from 1877 to 1887 and its vice-president. From 1896 to 1909 he was President of the Chamber of Commerce in Weimar , member of the Royal Prussian Railway Council for the district of the Erfurt Railway Directorate .

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach 1 ( Weimar , Apolda ) and the National Liberal Party .

He donated the Brückenbornbrunnen in Apolda.
