Hermann Neuschäffer
Hermann Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Neuschäffer (born August 15, 1898 in Darmstadt , † January 10, 1984 in Goldegg im Pongau , Austria) was a German lawyer .
Career
Neuschäffer was born as the son of a respected lawyer. After studying law , he submitted his doctoral thesis at the University of Giessen in 1922 . In 1925 he was admitted to the bar and joined his father's office. The professional focus was commercial and company law . After his tax advisor examination in 1930, he became one of the first German tax law attorneys in 1931 . In 1957 he merged the firm with the law firm of the former Federal Foreign Minister Heinrich von Brentano .
He was a member of the Darmstadt City Council and from 1966 to 1972 President of the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association . As a legal advisor, he played a key role in the establishment of the Friends and Sponsors Association of the Hessian State Museum in Darmstadt e. V. and was its first chairman from 1961 to 1970.
