Hermann Röger

Hermann Röger (born August 31, 1883 in Dörzbach , † August 6, 1954 in Isny im Allgäu ) was a Württemberg chief magistrate and district administrator.

life and work

The son of a road foreman attended the Protestant seminars in Schöntal and Urach, then he studied law in Tübingen, where he was a member of the Hohenstaufia Tübingen gymnastics association. In 1906 and 1909 he passed the higher judicial service exams. From 1914 to 1916 he managed a hospital. In 1916 he became a clerk at the Laupheim Oberamt , from 1919 administrative administrator and from 1921 at the Maulbronn Oberamt . In 1928 his service title changed to District Administrator. In 1938 he moved to the district of Wangen as administrative administrator and became district administrator there in 1941. In 1945 Hermann Röger was released by order of the US military government. In 1946 he accepted a position as domain director with the princes of Quadt-Isny and in 1947 retired early.

Honors

In 1929 Hermann Röger was made honorary citizenship of the city of Maulbronn. Maulbronn also named a street (Hermann-Röger-Straße) after him.
