Hermann Stammschröer

Hermann Stammschröer (born February 7, 1890 in Wadersloh , † October 7, 1957 in Beckum ) was a Catholic clergyman. He was imprisoned in the Dachau concentration camp .

Life

Stammschröer received his ordination on August 15, 1913 in Münster. At the time of National Socialism he was imprisoned in the pastor's block of the Dachau concentration camp from October 10, 1941 (prisoner no. 27837) until his release on April 10, 1945. After the end of the war, he was parish dean in St. Stephanus in Beckum from July 10, 1946 , and resigned himself on December 22, 1950 due to a serious bicycle accident. He retired on March 2, 1951 and died on October 7, 1957.
