Wilhelm Gassner

Wilhelm Gaßner (born April 5, 1906 in Stammham near Ingolstadt, † June 14, 1959 in Neuburg adDonau ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Career

Gaßner attended the humanistic grammar school and studied chemistry. He then worked for industrial companies, including Carl Zeiss and Daimler-Benz . This was followed by several years of activity as an ironworker in the Heereswaffenamt .

After the end of the Second World War he returned to Neuburg adDonau and became the full-time head of the food office. In 1948 he was elected district administrator for the district of Neuburg adDonau , was confirmed in office in 1952 and 1956 and held this position until his death.

On October 23, 1953, he replaced the late Georg Gromer in the Bavarian state parliament, to which he belonged until his death.
