Hermann Wunnerlich

Hermann Ludolf Wunnerlich (* May 7, 1818 in paper mill ; † January 17, 1903 in Hof ) was an entrepreneur and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Wunnerlich was the son of a papermaker and cloth manufacturer and attended four classes of Latin school in Hof and enjoyed lessons from private tutors. He learned in a paper mill and had been a partner in the Franck & Wunnerlich company since 1845, and from 1853 onwards, with the establishment of the "Mechanical Cotton Spinning Mill", he focused entirely on textile manufacture. He was also a member of the supervisory board of the mechanical weaving mill Hof, member of the supervisory board of the Vogtland cotton spinning mill and the gas lighting stock company. In addition, he was a long-time member and chairman of the court council, commercial judge from 1873 to 1884 and member of the district administrator of Upper Franconia.

From 1887 to 1890 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Franconia 1 ( Hof , Naila , Rehau , Münchberg ) and the National Liberal Party .
