Hermann von Bodelschwingh (* in the 16th century; † 1561 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Hermann von Bodelschwingh came from the Rhenish - Westphalian noble family von Bodelschwingh , which had its origins in the county of Mark and from which numerous well-known personalities emerged. He was the son of Wennemar von und zu Bodelschwingh (1543–1583) and his wife Elisabeth Isabella von Wachtendonck zu Germenseel. Hermann's brother Wennemar was canon in Mainz and Würzburg , his brother Jobst was canon in Münster. In 1561 Hermann received a cathedral praise from Münster . In the same year he died.
