Hermann von Salmuth

Hermann von Salmuth (born March 29, 1886 in Braunschweig , † June 5, 1924 in Hagen ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Salmuth studied law at the University of Lausanne , the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . Since 1904 he was a member of the Corps Vandalia Heidelberg . He passed the legal traineeship exam in 1907 and went to Hanover . From 1913 he was a government assessor in Lyck . From 1914 to 1916 he took part in the First World War. In January 1920 he became provisional government assessor at the Saarbrücken police department and then in Hagen . Until his death he was district administrator for the district of Hagen . He died at the age of 38.
