Hermione Jules
Hermine Jules , actually Hermine Julisch ( 1850 in Brno - June 21, 1901 there ) was a Bohemian theater actress .
Life
Hermione Jules, the daughter of a dance teacher, showed talent for the stage at an early age, which she also entered at a young age. After she had worked as a soubrette at the interim theater for a time, she joined her director (Klang) on a tour to America. Jules also worked at the Stadttheater under Heinrich Laube , from where she transferred to the Theater an der Wien . Here she attracted general attention in the role of a cook (in the German-Bohemian dialect). Afterwards she returned to her hometown Brno and worked at the city theater there. In 1898 the artist joined the Association of the German People's Theater , which she had to leave in 1900 due to illness. She returned to Brno without ever going back on stage. She committed suicide on June 21, 1901.
Her brother was the stage actor Anton Jules .
