The mansion Born Warnemünde ( Latvian Born Minim Muižas ) is a neo-gothic mansion in the historic region Zemgale in Latvia .

history

The Good Born Travemünde lies between Bauska and the Castle Rundāle . As early as 1763, a one-story baroque building was built on the current site . Pietro Poncini (also Poncino), who worked in Courland and Semigallia at the beginning of the 19th century , expanded the manor house in 1805/1806 into a two-storey building in the classical style. Around 1880 it was rebuilt in the then contemporary neo-Gothic Tudor style and received a turret.

The manor house got its present shape after a reconstruction in 1962, whereby facade elements and interior fittings were lost.
