The manor house Groß Schwarzlosen (also Gutshaus Groß Schwarzlosen , Castle Groß Schwarzlosen ) is a listed building in the district Groß Schwarzlosen of the town of Tangerhütte in the district of Stendal in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the mansion is listed as a monument under registration number 094 75959 .

history

In the 14th century, the von Borstell family owned a manor in Groß Schwarzlosen. The former moated castle was destroyed by arson in 1500. Today's rectangular mansion was built in 1744. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was rebuilt in a classical style. Around 1970 it was converted and used as a children's home. The building stands empty today (as of 2015) and is ailing.
