Reign of Arnegg

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Arnegg lordship , based at Arnegg Castle west of Ulm, was originally a fiefdom of the Counts of Dillingen . After 1338 the rule came to Württemberg and was then pledged several times. Finally, the lordship was acquired by the lords of Stadion in 1470 . In 1700 the Arnegg dominion came to the Teutonic Order and was administered by the Altshausen commander.

As part of the mediatization in 1806, the Arnegg rule came under the sovereignty of Württemberg .
