Herse ( Greek  Ἕρση ) is the daughter of King Kekrops I and sister of Aglauros , Erysichthon and Pandrosus .

With Aglauros they should guard the box in which Athena the Erichthonios had hidden. Hermes fell in love with her. Aglauros was turned to stone by Hermes when she refused to help get the Herse's attention. Cephalus emerged from the connection with Hermes.
