The Hersilia Cove is a bay on the north coast of Rugged Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is near the eastern end of the island.
Captain James Pendleton Sheffield (1793 - unknown) named it in February 1820 after his ship Hersilia from Stonington , the first known US sealer in the waters around the South Shetland Islands.
