The Hestkjøltoppen is a 1390 moh. high mountain in Norway . It is not far from the Swedish border in the Trøndelag province and belongs to the municipality of Lierne . The notch height of the mountain is 980 m, the dominance over the next higher mountain, the Borgafjäll ( Sweden ), is 82 km. Hestkjøltoppen is also the highest mountain in the Lierne National Park .
In addition to the 1390 moh. high east summit there is another 1382 moh. high west summit. The dominance of this secondary peak over the east peak is 0.9 km. The notch height between the two peaks is 95 m.
