Hi (outline artist II)
Hi was an ancient Egyptian outline painter of the 18th Dynasty who worked in Thebes and is only known for his work in the tombs of Nebimen and Ipuki .
Hi is so far only known in inscriptions from the grave of the sculptors Nebimen and Ipuki . It is unclear whether the term "brother" refers to Ipuki or rather Nebimen. If Nebimen is meant, Neferhat is his father, if Ipuki is meant, His father would be Senetjer . According to the inscriptions, Hi was an outline draftsman, and as such was involved in the production of reliefs and possibly also statues for the tombs in Thebes. He was during the reigns of Thutmose IV and Amenhotep III. (1397 to 1334 BC) active. Certain works have not yet been assigned to him.
