Hico is a city in Hamilton County in the US state of Texas .

The city is located a little northeast of the geographic center of Texas, in the northeast of the county on US Highway 281 and has a total area of ​​3.8 km² without any significant water surface.

history

The place was named after the hometown of its founder, Dr. John R. Alford from Hico , Kentucky .
