Hidden & Dangerous 2 is a computer game by Illusion Softworks from 2003. Like its predecessor, Hidden & Dangerous , it is a tactical shooter game with an age rating of 16 and over.

The game consists of 23 missions and a training camp at the beginning, which let the player move through locations from World War II in Norway, North Africa, Burma, France, Austria and the Czech Republic. During the game you slip into the role of English SAS soldiers who had the task of carrying out acts of sabotage behind enemy lines during World War II.

You can add 1–4 players to your team per mission. You can switch between all players during the game. If one of the men dies, he is no longer available for the remainder of the game and a replacement can only be ordered on the next mission (in some cases, if a visit to the headquarters cannot take place between two individual missions, not until the next one). The soldiers all have different skills such as endurance, accuracy and strength. After completing a mission, these climb and corresponding soldiers receive awards.

There are different game modes, both for single player, via LAN or on the Internet. So you can run through the campaigns as a team, but also as a "lone wolf". Successfully completed missions can be played again in a single game. It is also possible to watch the individual films that are played at the beginning of a campaign again.

Furthermore, an add-on for H&D 2 called "Saber Squadron" was released in 2004 . This adds new missions and the possibility to play them online or via LAN with other players.
