The Hidden Valley ( English for Hidden Valley is) a dry valley in Denton Hills of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located immediately south of the Miers Valley and was previously traversed by an alpine glacier that flowed into the Koettlitz glacier . The valley entrance is the only one in this region that is completely blocked by a moraine from the Koettlitz glacier. Not only is this cut off the valley from the coast, it is also not visible from the surrounding mountain ranges.
Participants in the Antarctic expeditions (1960–1961) undertaken by Victoria University crossed the valley from December 1960 to January 1961 and named it after its isolated location.
