Hideaki Ueno ( Japanese 上 野 秀 章 Ueno Hideaki ; born May 31, 1981 in Hokkaido ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ueno learned to play soccer on the school team at Muroran Otani High School . He signed his first contract in 2000 with Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed six first division games. In 2004 he was loaned to the first division club Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 2006 he returned to Kyoto Purple Sanga . For the club he completed 16 league games. In 2009 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 65 league games. At the end of 2011 he ended his career as a football player.
