Hideki Katsura ( Japanese 桂 秀 樹 , Katsura Hideki ; born March 6, 1970 in Tokushima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Katsura learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokushima High School and the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Yokohama Flügels in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1993 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 59 first division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . In 1999 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In 2000 he won the J.League Cup with the club . At the end of the 2000 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 65 games. In 2002 he moved to Sagawa Express Tokyo . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
