Hideki Matsunaga ( Japanese 松 永 英 機 , Matsunaga Hideki ; born February 8, 1963 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.
Career
Matsunaga learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School and the university team at Osaka University of Commerce . He signed his first contract with Matsushita Electric in 1984 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. 1985/86 he was with the club champions of Division 2 and rose to Division 1. At the end of the 1986/87 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1987/88 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted back to Division 1. In 1990 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . At the end of 1991 he ended his career as a football player.
