High Contrast (born September 18, 1979 in Cardiff ; real name Lincoln Barrett ) is a Welsh drum and bass DJ and producer. He is considered to be one of the pioneers of Liquid Funk and, in addition to two quite successful albums, has also attracted attention through various remixes , including for the White Stripes , Missy Elliott , Olive and the Future Sound of London . Some of his productions, including Return of Forever and Global Love, have made it into the UK charts.
