High Energy and Particle Physics Prize
The High Energy and Particle Physics Prize of the European Physical Society (EPS). It was donated in 1989 and is awarded every two years at the International Europhysics Conferences on High Energy Physics.
Award winners
- 1989 Georges Charpak for the development of detectors (including multi-wire proportional chamber and other wire chambers )
