The High Peak is a 60 m high mountain on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises east of Cape Royds .
Participants of the Nimrod Expedition (1907-1909), led by the British polar explorer Ernest Shackleton , who had set up their base camp not far from this mountain, named him.
