Hiku-iwa ( Japanese ひ く 岩 'low rock' ) is a 2,114 m high nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises 5.5 km south of Mount Gaston de Gerlache in the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains .
Japanese scientists measured it in 1973 and named it in 1979.
