Hilde Schaumberger

Hilde Maria Schaumberger (born August 7, 1953 in Villach , Carinthia ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

After attending primary and secondary school , Hilde Schaumberger completed a home economics school . At first she was a farmer and bank clerk, later she studied pedagogy at the University of Innsbruck and began to work as a teacher for Protestant religion.

She held her first political mandate from 1991, when she moved into the Villach municipal council. In 1993 she became the state chairman of the SPÖ farmers in Carinthia. From April 19-20, 1994 she was a member of the Federal Council in Vienna for one day . Her work as a member of the state parliament was also short-lived; from March to October 1997 she was a member of the state parliament. In 2002, Schaumberger was appointed financial councilor for Villach; she held this position for ten years until 2012.

On April 1, 2014, Schaumberger took over the management of the Protestant cultural center in Fresach .
