Hildegard Strickerschmidt

Hildegard Strickerschmidt (* September 1930 ) is a German special educator and author .

Life

Stickerschmidt worked as an assistant and lecturer at the higher technical school for social work of the German Caritas Association in Freiburg im Breisgau and at the educational counseling centers in Freiburg and Lindau on Lake Constance . She worked in her own practice for many years for psychotherapeutic treatment of children with language difficulties and behavioral problems.

Strickerschmidt published numerous works on Hildegard von Bingen , some of which were also translated and published abroad.

Strickerschmidt is married and has three children. She has lived in Bingen am Rhein since 1998 .
