The Himmelsfürster Erbstolln , also Himmelsfürster Erbstollen , is a former Erbstollen in Essen-Überruhr -Holthausen. The Himmelsfürster Erbstollen was the deepest in the county of Mark. It was created at a depth of +75 meters above sea level . The tunnel was initially to be set up on the eastern side of the Ruhr peninsula in Essen-Burgaltendorf, but this project was stopped.
history
In a Befahrung the pit Wilhelmine on July 15 of 1784 by the Baron von Stein remarked this as follows:
" The Himmelsfürster Stollen ... is now standing still, and a borehole is being used to examine whether there are still several seams in the bottom. ... "
On May 7, 1787, the right to inherit a tunnel was granted . This tunnel should the studs True Friendship south ascended to. The starting point of the tunnel was north of today's street Charlottenberg. At that time, the Ruhr left the Grafschaft Mark in this area. However, the tunnel was not set up on this side. The new tunnel was driven on the western side of the Ruhr peninsula. For this purpose, the tunnel was set up at an even lower level than the tunnel initially planned. It is also possible that the right to inherit the tunnel previously planned on the eastern side was transferred to the one on the western side. The hereditary tunnel was driven in an easterly direction before 1804.
The tunnel mouth hole was located in Oberruhr about 250 meters north of the Rahmanns Mühle. Today the house in Langenberger Straße 719 is located in this area. In 1804 and 1809 the tunnel was demonstrably driven further. The Brandenburg area was reached in 1814 and the tunnel was driven further east. In addition, dismantling was carried out this year . In the years 1817 and 1820 the Vorwärts shaft was mined. In 1827 the right to inherit a tunnel was again granted. In addition, a length field was awarded this year . In the same year, a 650 Lachter long sliding path to the Ruhr was created. In 1830 Schacht hope was in promotion , the promotion-related assets was 24,500 Prussian tons per year. In that year the horse-drawn railway operation was opened on the Deilbachbahn, the railway reached to Leberhof. In 1831, the Erbstollen was initially driven further, in the course of the same year it came to consolidation with other mines to the United Himmelsfürster Erbstollen colliery .
