Johan Dalsgaard (born April 30, 1966 in Copenhagen ) is an entertainer in the Faroe Islands . He became internationally known for his role as Rúni in the film Bye Bye Bluebird .

Life

Johan Dalsgaard's parents are both from the Faroe Islands. In 1970 he returned to the islands with them. He trained as an office machine mechanic, but from 1988 worked as a repair service provider for oil stoves.

In the same year he released his first CD with the Faroese band Springs . In 1995 he landed the island hit Kollafjørð and has been an entertainment professional since then under the stage name Johan í Kollafirði . In addition to comedy CDs, he makes his own radio and television programs.

In 1999 he made his film debut with the award-winning road movie Bye Bye Bluebird and was then engaged as a stage actor for a production of Friedrich Dürrenmatt's play The Visit of the Old Lady .

For the Løgtings elections in 2004 he founded Hin Stuttligi Flokkurin (literally “The other entertaining party”) and stood with the election promise “I will do nothing”. With 747 votes, he achieved a 2.4% share of the vote, but no mandate.
