Hind is an impact crater southeast of the giant Hipparchus crater and east of Halley crater .
Hind's crater rim shows little sign of wear or distortion, with the exception of a break in the north rim. Compared to Halley , the crater floor is uneven and furrowed. Hind and the adjacent craters 'Hind C' and 'Hind L' form a crater line that runs to the northeast with decreasing diameters.
