Hinterdenkental is a district of the municipality Westerstetten in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is located about two kilometers southwest of Westerstetten and can be reached via federal highway 10 .
history
The place is first mentioned in 1225 as "Dinkintal". Hinterdenkental belonged to the Albeck dominion , whose owners, the Counts of Werdenberg , sold the hamlet in 1377 to those of Sulmetingen, from whom it came to the Elchingen Monastery .
