Hipolit Śliwiński

Hipolit Śliwiński (born August 8, 1866 in Gródek , † June 11, 1932 in Lwów ) was a Polish architect, national activist and politician as well as a member of the Austrian House of Representatives and the Sejm .

Before the First World War, Śliwiński belonged to the “Strzelec” rifle association and joined Freemasonry , from 1901 he was the publisher of the “Wiek Nowy” newspaper. In 1911 he became a member of the Austrian House of Representatives as a representative of the electoral district of Galicia 1 . From 1919 to 1927 he was a member of the Sejm . He was buried in the Lychakiv Cemetery.
