Hippolyte Dussard

Hippolyte Dussard (born September 4, 1798 in Morez , Jura , † January 22, 1876 in Miéry , Jura ) was a French economist .

Life

In 1839 Dussard joined the editorial team of the Repertoire de l'industrie étrangère , which contained drawings and descriptions of the most important machines patented abroad. From 1843 to 1846 editor-in-chief of the Journal des économistes , he was appointed Prefect of the Seine-Inférieure department in 1848 .
