Hiroaki Kunitake (born February 10, 2002 ) is a Japanese snowboarder . He starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Kunitake took second place in slopestyle at the Cardrona Games in September 2016 and won in slopestyle on the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth in February 2017 . The following month he became Japanese champion in slopestyle and won the slopestyle competition at the Grandvalira Total Fight. At the beginning of the 2017/18 season, he started in Cardrona for the first time in the Snowboard World Cup and finished 19th in Slopestyle. This was followed by three top ten placements, including second place in the Slopestyle in Snowmass and at the end of the season seventh place in the Big Air World Cup, sixth place in the Freestyle World Cup and fourth place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he came 33rd in Big Air and 26th in Slopestyle. The following year he was fourth in the Slopestyle World Championships in Park City .
