Hiroki Azuma ( Japanese 東 博 樹 , Azuma Hiroki ; born July 10, 1966 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Azuma learned to play football in the university team of Dōshisha University . He signed his first contract with Matsushita Electric in 1989 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1990 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Matsushita Electric became Gamba Osaka . In 1994 he moved to league rivals Yokohama wing . In 1996 he moved to the second division Vissel Kobe . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . At the end of 1997 he ended his career as a football player.
