Hirotaka Takeuchi (scientist)
Hirotaka Takeuchi ( Japanese竹 内 弘 高, Takeuchi Hirotaka , born October 16, 1946 ) is a professor at Hitotsubashi University (Japanese 一 橋 大学) in Japan . Together with Ikujiro Nonaka, he is considered an important scientist in knowledge management . His most important book is "The Knowledge-Creating Company" (Japanese 「知識 創造 企業」, 1991). One of the most important models he helped to develop is the so-called knowledge spiral , also known as the SECI model, which he developed together with Ikujirō Nonaka and which contributed significantly to the development of knowledge management.
