The deer bone is one of the lower mountains that surround the valley near Aue . It is 517 meters high. Its slopes are partly forested, partly with allotment gardens and small settlement houses. He belongs to the district cell .
In an environmental study by the University of Bayreuth on the optimization of infrastructure and the upgrading of living conditions in regions with a sharp decline in population - the Western Ore Mountains model region , it says:
