Hirschwaldstein

The Hirschwaldstein is 1095  m above sea level. A. high summit in the Upper Austrian Pre-Alps . It is located in the Upper Austrian municipality of Micheldorf in Upper Austria directly above Altpernstein Castle . The Hirschwaldstein is in front of the main massif of the Steinkogel  ( 1097  m ) to the northwest.

The shortest marked hiking trail leads from Micheldorf over the Altpernstein Castle and the Kremstalblick (alternatively over the Eustachiuskreuz ) to the summit of the Hirschwaldstein. The longer variant leads from Leonstein from the west to the summit.
