Hisham Hammad

Hisham Hammad (born March 21, 1951 in Jerusalem -Bire, Palestine) is a German dentist and politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party .

education and profession

Hisham Hammad graduated from high school in 1969. He studied dentistry from October 1971 to February 1978 at the University of Belgrade . There he received his diploma as a dentist in 1978. From 1985 to 1987 he trained as a specialist in orthodontics at the University of Witten-Herdecke . He has been an orthodontist since 1987 . From 1981 to 1982 he was employed as a school dentist at the health department of the Märkisches Kreis in Lüdenscheid . From 1982 to 1983 he worked as an assistant in a dental practice in Oberhausen, from 1983 to 1985 he was employed in an orthodontic practice in Iserlohn. Since 1987, Hammad has been an independent dentist for orthodontics in Castrop-Rauxel .

Hisham Hammad was a member of the PLO from 1970 to 1976 . Since 1988 he has been a member of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party. Since 1995 he has been a member of the state council of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and since 1990 a member of the state party council and the state delegates' conference of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party in North Rhine-Westphalia. Hammad was a member of the Dortmund City Council from March to June 14, 1995.

From June 1, 1995, Hisham Hammad was a member of the 12th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list and from which he left on October 20, 1997.
